Martial Arts works all of the major muscle groups of the body, increases heart rate, increases oxygen intake requirements, and is an excellent choice in conditioning the entire cardiovascular system.
The ability to defend yourself against an attacker is an empowering feeling. With regular practise, you will learn to defend yourself in a variety of different ways.
Martial Arts will encourage you to develop new skills outside your comfort zone, to take on new challenges and learn how to deal with your emotions when put under pressure.

Martial Arts helps to install mental focus, giving the ability to concentrate on a task and see it through to its conclusion. The discipline that is taught in the Academy translates into other areas of life, including school and household chores, hitting career goals, while teaching students to treat others as they wish to be treated themselves.
Martial Arts help to reduce stress and tension by giving an opportunity to relieve any anxiety, which has built up during day to day life.
Martial Arts is great If you are suffering from problems with posture and/or coordination. You can strengthen your 'core' and improve your reflexes and coordination skills. And becoming alot more flexible which prevents injuries.
